Writer's Application:Name: Sammy F.
-----
Age: Thirteen. I will be fourteen on the fourth of September.
-----
Gender: Female.
-----
Examples: I have several different examples of different writing styles.
I'll start with some younger, more childish item descriptions I've written for Evodragon.net (on which I am head writer).
Magical Green Fan- This fan is a proud supporter of going green
Magical Orange Fan- Hey look! It's magical and orange! What more is there to it?
Dark Ice Sword- One scratch could turn you into a pretty little ice sculpture.
Soul Blade- Created from the souls of its victims this blade aims to take your opponent's as well.
-----
Here's a short pet description I used for my writer application on there.
Lupade - The Lupade is a beast of extreme pride, with the mighty lion being one of his ancestors. At one point it was said that every time he shakes his golden mane, an evil being is destroyed.
-----
Here's a short are description, also for my Pyropets application.
Eastern Desert - Once a place filled with joy, people, and urban myths, this place has become a mere shadow of what it once was. Decline in water and sudden, mysterious diseases have driven away all but the most loyal Eastern Desert citizens. It's been reduced to onlye a handful of desert themed shops. The only thing that seems to draw tourists anymore are the cursed tombs, said to hold unbelievable treasure. Those tourist don't usually stay for long, but they don't leave, either.

Here's an example of the official newsletter for Evodragon.net (downloadable webpage).

This was a news post for Wolf-Haven.com before the site went to the dogs. Oh, it still exists, but it's just dreadful. D: This post is pretty sloppy, too.
Yup, it's time for a new news post from your friendly local, Alonaria!
How 'bout we start with last time's poll results?
"The community" won by a landslide with 31 votes!
In second we have... Oh! Here's one I didn't expect! Leveling, with six votes!
And in third we have roleplaying with five votes!
Congratulations to the community! You guys ARE great!
Now let's see what the next poll is!
What is your favorite forum board?
Comment with your answer!
Now let's get on with the news!
It seems that x10 is over and people are at higher levels than ever before! This could be good, bad, or just plain crazy! Who knows?
Time for Question of the Day!
Question (provided by -Shadowheart-): I'm not in a pack, but I just noticed I have the "Pack wars" and "Pack messages" under my attacks and messages... what's happened?
Answer (Provided by Seasonal): It's probably just a glitch - I've seen a handful of pack-related problems since the crash. For instance, I have the ability to attack my own pack. o3o;
Whatever it is, I'm sure that it will be resolved soon.
Time for an Alo tutorial on making a basic mate topic!
Step One - Topic Name
Choose something that tells all what gender you're looking for. You don't just have to type "Looking for female," but don't just type "Searching" either. This is especially for males, as females tend to attack male topics!
Step Two - About You and Your Wolf
Tell people about your wolf, but not too much. Let them discover other sides of your character as you roleplay (if you roleplay). As for typing up info about yourself, this is all about what you're comfortable with pputting online. I can't give much advice here, because people are diffferent.
Step Three - Requirements
Make sure to have a good set of requirements ready to go. The most common requirements are things like correct grammar, roleplaying, being a certain level, and activity. Make sure you choose your requirements so that you'll get offers you like, but try not to be too strict.
Step Four - Bonuses
Bonuses are a great way to pick out the perfect mate. These are things that you would like to have, but are not a necessity. Common bonuses are having a custom, a higher level, or have talked to the applicant before.
Step 5 - Setting Up
I recommend, for the first post, just typing "look below" or "lood down" so that you can edit whatever you type. After you do that, type "reserved" for the next post on the thread to prevent people from "stealing" your thread. Steals are irritating. Next, edit that "reserved" post. If you don't know how to do this, look in the bottom right of the "reserved" post. You should see a link titled "Edit." Click on that and you'll be brought to a page where you can edit your post. Remove "reserved" And type in your "About You's." Make sure that after each piece of information you hit "Enter" so that it looks organzied. Hit "Enter" twice after you finish typing all of the information about you. Example-
About Me
My name is Sammy
I enjoy writing, drawing, sports, and reading.
Et cetera.
Next, type in your "Requirements." Once again, hit enter after each requirement. Hit "Enter" twice again. Finally, type in your bonuses. Hit enter after each bonus. Now just hit "Submit" and you're done!
This is a very basic tutorial, seeing that some people like to add colored text, centering, bolding, etc. You can look at other mate topics for examples.
Have an idea for my next tutorial? PM me! I love suggestions!
I'm going to take a look through all of those Character Bios I see!
Hmmmm, oh yes! Interesting! Oh, I like that.
It seems I've found a Bio with an interesting background that I enjoyed!
Iloveaboy2's Character Bio. Clicky! <---- Link to in forum bio.
I love that story! Great job Ilove!
Who knows, maybe YOU'RE bio will be featured next time! We'll see...
Well, that's it for today all! Stay active, have fun!

Here's a really old story that I wrote before I knew what "grammar" and "spelling" is. It's also way too fast paced (as mentioned in the comments).
